Status: offline 		i have the bh. i've also removed the flybar weights, i notice the response, but not really the roll rate since i'm not really into 3d and only doing some ff sometimes at my front yard. your right, come to think of it, i also dump it in my living room .

Status: offline 		I have pretty much have the hover with tail in down. I'm just constantly having to give it tail adjustments during flight. I guess that is just the nature of the cp because of the cheesy tail assembly. I just can't seem to get the thing trimmed in. I fly my buddy's Raptor 90 and you don't even have to touch the tail unless you want to turn. Granted we are talking about a $200 dollar heli compared to a $2000 heli. Well anyway progress is going well and I haven't broken any blades lately! Keep ya posted Great forum!

Status: offline 		the gain is to control how sensitive your tail is to the control imputs. when your learning you want to set the gain as high as possible without the tail wagging.

Status: offline 		Is there a way to get the cp pro airborne quicker? mine goes to the left so quickly when I slowly give it throttle, that it is on the other side of the large meeting room that I have been learning to fly it in before it is airborne and then it tilts right. I know it is going to drift left somewhat and tilt right in the air, but I either throttle up faster and then give some right stick to get it airborne - halfway across the room, I give it to much right stick and it tips over to the right, or to much throttle and no right stick and it spins violently and then dumps. What is the best approach to get it as close to a vertical takeoff as possible? Im use to the vertical take off of the cx, I know its not the cx, bit I'm guessing there must be away to get it a lot closer to it then I am currently.

Status: offline 		to me it sounds like that your swashplate is not level, becuase it should drift to the left but not violently. so check your swashplate to makesure it's level, center the servos, and makes sure that 1/2' goes out on top of the swash plate, check out bladecprepairs.com for more info. also, when you throttle it up slowly, dont let it drift away, stop the drifting immediately when you notice it, and keep adding throttle, do both things AT THE SAME TIME. so as you increase throttle, keep the heli in one place and dont let it drift if at all possible. i can take off and land vertically with my blade cp, i got the bh and lipo and cf blades, so it's no difference than a bcpp with cf blades. i'd say check your swash plate, and add aileron as you throttle up, it should take off pretty straight if not vertical. the more you do it, the more natural it'll become, and you wont even think about it after a while.

Status: offline 		I agree with Chopperdudes,

Making sure your heli is set up mechanically is the most critical process of the set-up of the heli. Swash plate, servo adjustments, pitch on the blade are the most crucial. Take the time to tweak it just right. It can take some time though, adjusting, flying then readjusting.

The trims for the right stick are for minor adjustments, not major ones.

Status: offline 		It was the swah plate, I can damn near do vertical takeoffs every time now, I still need to make some minor adjustments though.
Does anyone know of anygood scale bodies made for it? I have a blackhawk from xelltronics, It seems kinda big and I would have figure out away way to mount it. Looking for something that wont be too har to do, but still looks cool.
