The best fuel for me is the cheapest I can find locally. I have used Omega, Cool Power, Powermaster, Wildcat, Tower Hobbies. No difference in running, and my engines are very happy. Haven't destroyed one yet.

Happy flying.

I run Sig Champion, although it is not available locally. I have tried a couple of other brands, good stuff, said to be the same, and had to make major changes in needle settings. I figure I run the same fuel all the time, that is one variable I don't have to worry about.

That is correct Jim, I have to readjust the needle with each change of fuel. Other than that, no problem.

For me, a little Castor in the mix is a requirement. Otherwise, use anything and adjust for proper operation.

Cheers,

Chip

this is a common misconception that there is a "best" fuel, really it is all a matter opf preference, sure some fuels are just plain better than others in most peoples eyes (aka blue thunder) but find out what you have access to, if there is only one choice then go with it, if there are several, ask around about them

More important is how you set your HI speed needle and use after-run lube. Capt,n

Homebrew. I know exactly what's in it. There's some commercial blends that are top-notch as well, but here in the land of Green Fuel....you won't see those on the shelf.

I just make my own and that's it.
