i got an electronics guy at where i work to look at it, he commented on how poorly designed the circuit board was, 'typical Chinese rubbish' was he exact words. Any how he soldered the wires to the board, he also come up with the idea of cutting a piece of aluminum about 3mm thick that he fitted into the bottom of the tank, then put some super glue onto the heat sink of the board, then installed the board, he said the alloy would absorb extra heat. He then asked me if i had any spare cpu fans, i came up with a fan from a Intel P4 cpu, its a genuine heatsink and fan setup, we removed the fan and it sits perfectly onto of the main board, there are two plastic spacers built into the moulding of the fan housing, perfect, it sits about 4mm off the board, i did have to put a bit of tape to hold one wire down, but it all looks very proffesional, he said it would help greatly, and soldered it onto the main board so when i switch on, the fan starts. Im sorry i didnt take any photos, but if anyone knows computers, they will know what a P4 fan looks like. The only problem we came accross is when the gun is elevated high and you turn the turret to the right (looking from back of tank) and then back left, it sometimes gets stuck, its the gun firing motor that is catching the top of the fan, just lowering the gun slightly and it passes over it no problems. A small price to pay if its going to keep the circiuts from blowing. Oh you cant hear the fan running either unless you put your ear right next to the tank. ran the tank till that battery went flat (20mins maybe more i wasn't counting just having fun) now im gonna get a 4300 battery....
