i have recently got into 1:18 scale vehicles and was wondering where the 2/3A cell fits into the batter lineup? is it between a AA and sub-c? between a AA and AAA?

i just picked up a piranha charger and it says not to charge A, AA or AAA or smaller faster than 1A, and my pack is 1100mah, but i will be switching to 1400mah packs soon, so what should i charge at?

1 amp is ok, 2 at most. Capacity wise it is easy to see where it belongs. It won't have capacity of a AA, but will out do it in current capability. I'd call it a baby Sub C because it is a short fat cell like subC are. I like to think the capacity comes from the lenth and the current from the diameter.
