First, the Brison engine line is one of the best. Just because a zillion dollars was never spent on advertising along with a hundred or more engines not being given to the top competitors does not mean it's not a top performer. It just means it's been in the background more. Manufacturing quality and performance of the Brison engine line has always been very high. I have three Brison engines, a pair of 3.2's and a 105cc twin. When I purchased them I had the option of buying any engine in the same size classes. I went with the Brisons for power, quality, and reliability and have never regretted the decisions. As far as the 2.4 being enough engine...it's waay over the top to perform excellent 3D if the plane has been set up properly. The ability of any engine to pull a plane out of a hover is entirely up to the owner. If they sized the engine correctly for the aircraft, and in this case it has been, then the amount of additional weight the assembler throws into a plane controls what the engine can do. The Baby Edge can do any maneuver that you are capable of performing. That's been proven over and over. Personally, my thoughts were that it flies a little better than it's 28% big brother. I'm going to catch some heat over that, but that was my feeling at the time.
