I have a raptor 30, i could hover sideways and could do little forward flight and i just bought a Trex 450XL HDE.

My question to TRex gurus out there is can i fly Trex w/o a training gear or do you think I will be ok?

any one who flys raptor 30 and Trex? does Trex flys way different than raptor 30?

Thanks

I'd stick the training gear on it, atleast initially. The helicopter will be alot more sensitive and agressive in the cyclic than you're no doubt used to.

Use the gear to start out with. After you have hovered a few times and are confident you can land level, go without.

Zsultan,
I personally think your alright
I didn't ever use training gear, not even as a total noob to the hobby and I never crashed because I've tipped on a landing! And you've get previous experience! But hey, a little insurance never hurts, because credence is right, these electrics are a we bit more twitchy!

Use the training gear for a few flights. Your wallet will thank you.

Zsultan:

Obviously you've got to do what makes you most comfortable. If it's an 'EGO' thing, then definitely use it. You have nothing to prove to anyone except yourself. Might save a few sets of blades.
