Great looking WACO there, Joe. Shame that something is parked in front of it though. Trade places with them.

Here are some updated photos,I also posted them on Gordons build thread. We finally got the black bottom on the fuse so we can get the cowl painted to match the graphics. The cockpit is done by Wright RC-Virtual Cockpits from actual pics of the Bulldog II cockpit.I think it turned out pretty good.

I'm proceeding with the build. Cubnut, are you still ready to cover and paint the beast? We will need to find someone to do the final assembly, and the raffle of the model.

Joe,

The canopy will be made from a 3 liter soft drink bottle, and Gordon Boulton is supposed to be making a cowl.

ps, we need to find someone to do the final assembly after Cubnut does the covering and paint.

Anthony,

I haven't a clue. I'm working on it as time permits within the building of my own plane. I told everyone that this would be what would happen when I didn't get the promised parts. I have had to get the materials and cut the parts myself. Thanks to all who did what they promised. It will be built, but I won't stop what I am working on to do it. It will just have to be worked in as I can. Hope you all understand that.

Bill

Bill,
No problem bud, I too am a little disapointed at how this has all wnet down. I guess you have to expect these things with this type of project. It really doesn't matter when it gets to me. I will find a good stopping point in my projects and slip in the covering job. I still have the Koverall and the dope on the shelf waiting for the job.
BTW, what is the wingspan of the 1/5 WACO. I was looking at the scan of the plans but it does not tell what the specs are.
Later!
Anthony

The Waco in 1/5th scale is 72". The full scale YMF carried a 30' span, so that nails the model.
