There are other issues than plans. We need to make decisions regarding Engine, radio equipment (servo placement etc) Covering material and finishes. We could decide these issues while we are waiting on the plans.

Bill,
Our Plotter broke a belt and the belt and service guy is supposed to be in tomorrow to get it back up and running, if he gets it working tomorrow I will stay after work and get the plans plotted.
As far as I know we will be useing Sig Koverall for the finish, not sure. The engine, radio gear etc: will depend on what gets donated and if not what we raise enough money to buy. By the plans it looks like a DA100 is in order to power this bird.

I drew a DA100 on the plan because that's what the person wanted when I blew up the plan for him. It should have oodles of power, but you want lots of power in a model like this.

I'm good with the choice of Koverall. It's all I use. I'm just noticing that there is much less action on this thread than there was last week. Hope everyone is not getting cold feet. Of course if they are, a couple of us can do the build, or even one of us.

I don't have cold feet. I went on vacation over Labor Day weekend. Got home Sunday night and had to fly out Monday morning on an emergency business trip. Storms in North Carolina knocked out about $10,000 worth of equipment that had to be replaced. I just got back home this afternoon.

Stick I Am Ready For The Build. It Just Takes time To Figure Out What We Need And More Time To Get Things Donated. We Are only At The Plans Stage.Materials May Not Be Given Out For weeks. Lucky Kit Builder Have Tons For Patiences.Remember It Is Better To Have Patiences Then To Be One ( Just Being A Smart Butt)
I Think It Is Great That We Are All Willing To Donate Our Time And Skills To This.I figure There Are MAybe 3% Of The Members Of RCU That Can Build Something Like This Plus The Pisces Built Separately Buy People With Different Building Styles. This Is Going To Be GREAT.I Am With You Stick I Am Drooling For The Build But It WIll Take Time.Another 4 Letter Word.

There has been a lack of excitement and enthusiasm here when compared to what I was seeing at this time last week. I just don't want to see beople losing interest, and dropping out.

This project will go forward, and I am confident that it will be completed. I am just as excited as ever, but just excercising a little patience until I can see the actual plan of the Plane we are going to build. Once we can all see that, then there will be a ton of things to discuss. I am fine with Koverall as well Anthony.

Good News,
I printed one sheet tonight before leaving work, it looks great. The plotter was backed up with prints for work so I will have to print some more tomorrow.
