In the RCU FOR YOU section under RC COMMUNITY you can also find RCU banners to post upon the web page. We definately want to show our gratitude to RCU for allowing us to organize and manage this team build project from there forums. A link on that page directing folks back to this thread would also be nice IMO.

Since we are looking at something that is going to require an engine in the 100cc range. What is everybody thinking in regards to engine? DA, Saito, Evolution, 3W, ZDZ, etc. etc.? Also this may be the toughest challenge we might face, and that is what radio equipment do we use? Futaba or JR? If we can work through that descision then we can work through anything! Like asking 20 people to pick between Ford and Chevy! Going to be rough! I am sure this group is about split down the middle between Futaba/Hitec and JR/Airtronics. I guess if the equipment comes from a sponsor, I guess we will use that, and that will solve a very hard descision for 20 people to work out.

1/4,

It's off to a good start, but I wonder if it would be wise to not post everyone's E-mail on an advertised web page. (At least I'd prefer not to have mine listed...) The less unsolicited E-mail I get, the better. Is it possible to just use links to RCU member pages/profiles instead? That way, outside E-mail could be directed through RCU.

BTW - I'm located in Port Washington, WI

One thing we have allready decided that we know we will need is the Koverall. Can you give me an estimate of how much you think we will need? I will work on sending some emails out to some Koverall distributors, and maybe seeing if we can get some donated. If that don't work, I will order what we need and send it your way. If you can just give me an estimate of how much you think it might take will help greatly. Thanks

It looks like (2) large packages. I believe it is 15' long sheets. I will also need 1 qt of dope and a qt of Ploycrylic. The cost for the total covering will be approx $65.

The webpage looks great! A great start! When you get the chance make sure you remove krossk email from the list in case you missed his post. My email is plastered all over the net, and I have my own web page as well, so I don't mind having my listed public, but some people may want to keep theres private.

I would also ask anybody that may have missed the post a few pages ago that you do not share your plan with anyone besides other team members, and please do not put them up anywhere on the net. Bipe Flyer was kind enough to loan us his plan to build our project, so we want to make sure we protect his plan and not let it get used by anyone except for those on this team that have his permission to use it for this project. I am sure he has spent alot of time on them, and I would feel terrible if they got out without his permission.

I want to thank Love1/4Scale for stepping up to be our Team Webmaster, and I also want to offer a reminder that we still need a Team Treasurer if some honest person is interested in doing that.

I have added the Team Webpage to the opening post in this thread, and have also added theo63 as our 18th member.

I have updated the opening post (Post #1) of this thread with some various info. I have also listed besides each members name what they have volunteered for up to this point. If you would like something added to your to-do list or something taken off, then please let me know.

Even though we have yet to all see the Plan, we will start to compile a materials list of what is needed. I will continually add to this list as we determine what materials are needed, and I will note next to each thing when it is aquired.
1. (2) Large Packages of Sig Koverall
2. (1) qt of dope
3. (1) qt of Polycrylic
4. Sanding Sealer
