I am going to be there both days--- But probably hotel/motel Sat. night....

Whilst checking in folks should be listing aircraft as well

I am going to try to keep track of who comes/ what aircraft/ and take pics along the way... Tom- you gonna video/ pics or both? I take photos kinda like I fly > sooooo...

Status: offline 		I just checked all the hotels/motels in the greater Victorville area. Most of them sound like horror flicks after reading the reviews. A couple sound good: The Hilton Garden Inn and the Comfort Inn. The Comfort Inn actually has pics you can look at and it looks decent enough. $109 for the Hilton and $85 for the Comfort Inn.

I am just going to play it by ear. If I do stay over Sat. night I will probably just crash inside my truck.

Is anyone bringing a generator?

Thats where I am staying on Friday night. I can give you a report on Sat. I am going to crash for a few hours in Daves RV (no gettin it on in the shaggin wagin for me) and beat feet out reeel early in the morning so I can catch the silver bird.

Come to think of it, Ive stayed in that place a handful of times

I seem to recall there was a pretty cool breakfast joint just down the road we use to go to - served up a big breakfast, fairly inexpensive. (yes, my brain and stomach are connected via dedicated neuro-net)

Can't be any worse than the Bug Boy...err...I mean Bun Boy Motel out in Baker. Stayed there ONCE during the Baker RC Marathon. Lifted up my mattress to find several hundred cockroaches scurrying around. Some fellow RC guys a couple doors down took some of the dead roaches and spelled out "Bug Boy" on the room's table before they left. I only wish I had taken a picture.....
