Whats the difference b/w the 500mW tx and the digital camera preview tx? This could be in my very near future, and I want to make sure I have the right thing.

Also, what do you have to do to get the $15 off?

I have his aerial system. My experience is that he sells a product. He is not knowledgeable about possible applications other than plugging in the system and using it. I use it in conjunction with an INSPIRE video display board by Tom of DPC. Tom is way over the top in support. he sent diagrams of how to wire the video into the board and the voltage regulator. I must have gotten 10-12 emails with specific instructions. I got a camera spec sheet from Vova (the video system) without even the pin out description. Not comparable at all.

My experience indicates if you are going to use the system out of the box plug and play you should be good to go. If you are going to go beyond that you are on your own.

I also have to say that Tom of DPC instructions allowed me to wire everything up as needed and turn it on. Viola I had a very clear picture of my wife's foot with the exeact GPS coordinates.

The transmitter by nature runs a little hot. Good ram air over it like the battery and esc are essential.

I would not use these camera systems in a gas airplane. Unless you are an expert in vibration protection you will be an unhappy camper. Electric is the way to go.

I must say I have never seem so much pouting being done by so many adults. Most of us do this (run small companies) in our spare time. Sometimes we even have to spend time with our families, can you imagine that and on a weekend! I start to get worried after a few weeks and not before, most suppliers in this business are wonderful and the rest are just plain busy. I had a pushrod screw strip on my EZ Friday night, I searched the web trying to find one and only found a post from Jan 2006 where another EZ owner did the same thing. A Multiplex customer service rep had replied to the post saying he would send him a couple right away. I sent the rep an email just to see if he still existed and he emailed me back yesterday saying; (I even offered to pay in my initial email and he ignored the comment)

Hi Denny, I’ll get a couple out to you.

Now for those of you who have been doing this for awhile you know that we deal with some great people both suppliers and fliers so relax and enjoy our wonderful sport. Maybe offer to help someone else and STOP whining...I feel better now...and I want to send out a BIG thank you to all of those who make this sport so enjoyable.

Here is another thread where they are talking about the same thing, without whining; http://www.wattflyer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14238
