Doing the Cessna Citation Columbus, eh?  Your version may be the only one that ever flies!  The project has already been suspended without a prototype ever being built.  Beautiful plane...hope Cessna restarts the project in the future!  If the guy you're doing this for allows you, please start a build thread on this as well...would love to see it come together to completion!

Butch,

What say you start a fund drive to help keep this project going? I'll start with a bid of $100 for a reserved front row seat to the maiden flight!

Come on Jet Community, we don't need no stinkin government bailout! Let's ROLL with this one!

I wouldn't know how to do something like that. The only thing I could think of is put money in his Pay Pal account. I will put some money in there, but I have something at stake. Don't think you could get people to send money just for the hell of it. But if people are interested I will post his Pay Pal and let the "Video-thon" Begin !

I talked to Bob and he said if you want to donate to the project he would love it. He will make a banner that will be up during his movies with everyone name that does donate. Hey it sounds good to me !  Paul Stelly and I will do it first and send $1000. He will give everyone a front row seat  and a hot dog for the test flight ! Ha ! Here is his e-mail address for Pay Pal.    rmoore4169@aol.com

Sell buddy box time IOU's on the Bone for $10 a minute.

Otherwise, that is a really good spar/bulkhead design.   One thing that might save Bob some time, is that rectangular 6061 AL tubes are available commercially in the size and thickness range needed for that spar.

Bob informed me this morining that he has had 94,000 views on youtube. That's not bad for a model airplane ! He wanted to thank everyone for following and he will keep putting up the videos.  Butch

He could always sell one or some of those P200's to free up some capital......just a thought. It's not like he can't get them later.

Chad

PS., I need a P200 if anyone hears of one for sale

Hey Guys great work!  In one of your videos you talked about where to get carbon fiber cloth in your area for a good discount, do you have that info?

Thanks much,

Is this B1 going to be lite enough to be AMA legal?  Looks like the size of it is the same or bigger then AMT's concord from a few years past.  Great project!! Keep up the good work!!

That's OK, I have had problems with people in the past wanting to tell me how to operate and I just didn't want to get all pi$$ed off and say something that I would regret. Everything is COOL ! The people that know me I'm sure are waiting for a blow-up, but it's not coming ! HA !  But it will be with in AMA  Limits.

So the bypass allows air to go around the turbine and on out on the turbine exhaust side which increases the overall pressure produced by the turbine?
