Don,

If its collective , how do you get a non computor radio to do the mix for the swash to go up and down for the pitch ?? I know on smaller heli's the 4 in 1 controller does the mixing but any other the tx does the mixing.

Andy

The pitch servo is linked with the throttle. It's done in the RX i believe.
On the other side, if you would "lock" the pitch servo, I believe you could actually fly this heli with a walkera 4 tx.
I know........I'm sick for suggesting it, but it could be done.

Don

I can see what your saying ,but you did get alot more options with a computor radio.

Yes, you are correct, the computer radio does offer a lot of options that would not be available on a regular radio, which in turn can aid in the setup and flying of the heli.

The pitch servo is connected in-directly to the ball links on the blade holders. On an Older Nexus 30 (gas) the main shaft is really 2 shafts, one inside the other. the inner shaft moves up and down, which in turn feeds the pitch one way or the other. The swash does not move up or down, only forward/back/side-to-side.
