Well, I have been working on this bird, but mostly stock stuff getting it ready.

I did change the retract valve to the UPC-2 geardoor cycler valve. I had to cut the stock laser cut mountings for the " PST " retract valve off the Radio board:

Then I added some "Riser" blocks of 1/4" Ply to get the UPC valve to line up with the servo:

Here is the UPC valve, I have labeled it to make it easier to keep track of the plumbing:

Pushrod added and adjustd to length. By the way, this is one of the few parts that were salvaged from the Ziroli. Does this make it a rebuild?????????? LOL

Here is the secret to keeping the nose gear doors open while the UPC-2 valve is closing the main gear doors. I made a wood bracket to hold the clippard shut off valve that will not allow air to close the nose gear doors untill the nose gear strut makes contact with it and opens it. This assembly is mounted to the top of the nose gear mounting plates, Simple:

The 8411 on the brake valve is because they are NOT air brakes, PST recomends Minimum of 111 Inch oz servos..........They are hydraulic. It took me three hours yesterday to bleed them so there were no air bubbles in the air line and to get the master cylinder in the correct position so it would go over center so I would have a parking brake when the radio is turned off. As a suggestion to PST : it woud be much simpler if there were a separate brake fluid reservoir, instead of using the master cylinder itself as the reservoir. Not a big problem, now as I never have to fool with the brakes or add air to them again....................I hope. LOL

SO far they work as advertised. It set out at the field for three hours with the brakes on while we fiddled with e engine to get it to run. And released when I told them to. Never had to add air to 'em, LOL, no oil leaks either.

Seems we might have not had the battery charged enough to get it to ramp fuel properly. I had charged it Thursday, and never tried to run it. It kept going over temp and shutting down. Probably the battery or somthing else simple. We will be contacting Wren for their advice tomorrow.Meanwhile I've recharged the battery and it took 1200mah to peak it.

Well it seems the problem with the engine was...........................Some fool plugged the fuel and Propane lines backwards..................Wonder who that could have been. Ha Ha
We have since run the Wren Mw54 SS 5 times and it runs great. Has a lotta push.

Now on with the modifications:

I hooked the flaps up as per PST instructions, using JR 2721 MG analog servos. (They do not recommend digitals) I was not happy with the amount of movement I could get with the radio on and pushing the flap up against the servo power. With the flaps in the takeoff position I could push them up to the flight position with very little pressure. So I took 'em apart and made some new horns and aeropoxied them in above the hinge line:

I then went to the wing and removed the servo/ cover and put the heavy duty Dubro horn pointing up inside the wing instead of down through the cover. (Now I gotta fill the hole. Only on one side though as I didn't cut the other cover before finding I didn't like it.)

Then cut a hole in the trailing edge of the wing for the pushrod to exit.

Readjusted the pushrods and hooked up the flaps. Still not perfect, but mucho better. It now takes a lot more pressure to move them up against the servo. I think the horns in the flaps need to be mounted another 1/4 inch higher than I have them. But I was afraid to cut the horn slot any taller, and there was no lumber at the top of the flaps to glue it to.
