Guys who sells the upgraded steel pinion? Should I stick with 13T?

Robinson Racing sells the 13T steel pinion.. (which I use)

If you want to run anything other than 13T, you'd need to get adjustable motor mount.. I just stick w/ the stock setup..

You can get it online for about $329 shipped on fleabay...and for what...a Metallic body, wimpy ESC and blacked out bumpers/shocks/etc that were previously blue/red/yellow? I'll pass till this thing comes BRUSHLESS and RTR for that price lolz...

Save the extra cash and snag a Parma repop body and go to town with Spazsticks and Rit Black dye lol

Don't forget to dye the bumpers, ladder stabilizers, shocks and everything with some RIT. Hey...I just saved everyone a few hundred bucks over a Super Clod...FINDERS FEE lol.

Oh yeah...there is an ESC.

I wish they did something unique to the Special Box, Pumpkin, Clod and WW2. Just to keep things on the up and up like a light kit, sounds, ...I don't know.

I wonder which will be the next Special Metallic Edition...

Sand Scorcher?
Wild One?
Grasshopper?
Blackfoot?
Lunchboxer's T Egg?

Lolz...grab some spazsticks and make your OWN special edition folks.

I noticed the LB is the only Gold special edition...WOOOT!

In all seriousness I am positive a Special Edition Monster Beetle would be killer to have.

Lolz...hasn't arrived...need a few more days. Here is the shell.

Anyone know if there are any fitment issues with say...Hotbodies 8 inch Fireball premounted tires/wheels like these?

I am not worried about low end meat with 16.8 volts and 23T/13 tooth pinions moving it off the line so much...top end speed would be pretty unreal. The truck already will come with some offset hubs.

A suggestion.. when posting pics, maybe you can download them, and upload to RCU.. this way, when the original source is no longer available (say, the auction is over), the thread won't be left w/ a bunch of broken links..

No worry, just a friendly suggestion.. this way, when people read the thread in the future, they will know what you were talking about, instead of staring at a bunch of red "X".. !
