hi, i'm in the prosess of breaking in the motor. ( had it for a while but no time i'm not sure that i used the right plug ! it's a OS P3, the first few tank the tempertur is raise very quickly, ( both needle are very lean ) the temp is about 265 F and still go up, i had to shut it down...i'm pretty sure there are no leak, i used 30% fuel. but today i ran it again and temp is a little better, about 225-235, the power is unbeliveable, fastest one i ever own, absolutely love it. i'm getting one more next week proprebly 621T.
oh, i live in palm springs, it's pretty hot here, always a high 100s at this time of the year.
do i need a new plug ? or fixed any thing els ?? oh, it's in Kyosho SP2 with JP3 pipe, if you need to know.
thanks in advance...

The car looks nice, from what I can see in the picture it appears the top end is too lean, what carb insert are you using? adjust the top end needle all the way in, then back it out about 3.0 full turns, that is a good place to start, on the bottom end you want to start about 2.0 turns in from flush, ( it looks like it about there now)....give that a try and let me know how it works out.....

I would say for truggy the T or the P will be great, for buggy I prefer the T......the price should be about the same, I know one dealer was selling the P's pretty cheap for awhile, but that has since changed.....

Where is the best place to buy replacement parts for both the 21 and the 28 Radical powerplants?

I personaly like the T for truggy and buggy both.....but we now also have the new .28 that is outstanding in truggy! tons of power and great fuel economy

Well i got the 612T. Is it o.k. to use a e-clip to hold on the clutch bell? I had no washers so i used an e-clip. Looks like it works but i want to make sure. Thanks.

Yes you can use an e-clip, I use both an eclip and screw just to be safe, also make sure you don't have the low end needle too rich, the engine will still run ok, but will tend to run a bit hotter than normal and will not give you the best perfomance.....I good starting point is
2.5 turns in from flush on the low end, and 2.5 out from closed on the top end....let us know how it goes!

Use those settings I gave you for race tune, all you need to do for break in is richen the top end a slight bit and you will be fine, and keep inmind operating temps will be around 200
