Hi, just bought a new fuse and canopy for my Raptor (unflown as of yet). I didn't get the decals, and was wondering if anyone has ever tried monokote or similar on the stock fuse?

I would lean towards using the Monokote solvent to make it stick, as opposed to heat, or maybe light heat after the solvent...

Has anyone ever tried anything similar, and/or have suggestions...

I figure this fuse will take me through learning, and I don't want to put a lot of time into it, and don't want to paint it. I will probably leave it white, if the monokote is advised against, or maybe just pelter it with all the worthless motor stickers I have laying around...

but on the other side, I did get a fiberglass fuse with it, and I have an artist friend airbrushing the most exquisite eagle you have ever seen on it! Can't wait for it to get done, and learn to fly this beast so I can show it off!!

Thanks in advance...

Roger, I don't know about "Monokote" but the Monokote trim sheets will work OK if you can use them... Just wash the canopy good with dw liquid, rinse & dry and it will stick quite well...

twguns--what is dw liquid? Is this also helpful as a prep for paint?
Thanks,
Tom
