What would be the best to use if I still wanted it to come apart, but it was enough to keep it locked?

Once more Shoe Goo.

It works well, it is inexpensive, readily available, easy to clean up, and totally reversible.

I would say use a fourth diff gear or silly puddy. Who can beat a half second to remove and place in an extra gear for an instantly locked diff?!

ive found out that the type of plastic the gears are made of alot of stuff dont really stick to it . it looks that way at first but then it comes apart later. like the 2 ton apoxy that i used. who would have thought that would come apart. but yeah ill try the shoo goo because i know that you can get that back out
