It would help if we knew which variant of the 480 you are using; there are two and they are very different.

Also, we can't recommend a prop unless you tell us what pack you are using.

Good, in that case you could use both props you have without much to fear but the best all around would probably be 12x6. 10x7 will be great for fast pattern, 12x7 will give you insane climbout and great speed, but i am pretty sure it will load up a bit more than your pack can take continuously so some management will be necessary. Mind you with that kind of power flying around at 60% throttle won't exactly feel like a compromise

I have not done a flat spin yet, but see my post #180 because the manual cg is very very forward for an aerobatic plane, and not good at all for 3D!

Oh man, i loved this plane (as a seagul extra), it was great. So that, + the fact that you always wanted a Patty i see no shame in overpaying to get it as long as you can afford it and you know that you are consciously overpaying for a variation of a product that costs about 40% less.

I'd like one too, but i have so many planes already that i just can't justify it and i don't want it "169.99$" badly.

If i did though, what i would do is contact the only local hobby shop i know of that carries some graupner stuff and ask it if he can get it for me at a better price. He's in Canada but he ships worldwide. Send him an email, you have nothing to loose. http://www.icare-rc.com/index.htm
