I think that it is basically the same thing as the mini inferno st. The only differances I can see is the taller rear body mounts, wheels/tires, and the body.

Hi,

Same as mini Inferno chassis but with different wheels and taller body mounts. The body is a Japanese JGSDF Light Armored Vehicle. This is a Japanese Hummer.

Thx

Joaquim

Hi, I already bought this LAV and tried it several times.

But in my opinion, compared to the 1/12 Tamiya Hummer XB R/C (of course it is larger R/C), my Kyosho LAV is too powerless!

For example, it even cannot climb up my shoes.............

I do not have any experience with Kyosho Half8 mini R/C, but is this normal or mine has problem?

Thanks!~

Well it is a half 8 with a horrific body. (which is plastic) It is not made to climb shoes, socks or any other obstacle. It is upgradable with most of the kmi parts. I have to check but I think the a arms were a bit wider (like the st). It is a racer with a lame body. A motor and esc upgrade is the biggest part of getting speed.

Thank you guys! to respond my problems!

I'm a bit relieved to hear that the Kyosho LAV is for rcing not for climbing! I thought something's worng with the motor or so......

But again, the Tamiya 1/12 XB Humvee is so powerful! I cannot run it inside house for its speed and power!

Racing with a LAV........ it can be fun anyway!

No, but a Hummer can. On a more serious note, hummers were never designed for climbing anything but hills, hence the low ground clearence.

The ones out at dealerships couldn't climb up a curb without the transmissions falling out
