Hey Mark
I have had a 27% ultimate for about the past year, and I have got a Brison 3.2 on it and it is almost done. I matched engine box sides and cut them (equally) according to Brison and pinned and reinfoced engine box. How much do I need to worry about incedences of top wings. I have read about others just bolting on and flying. I have been fine tuning anti rotation dowls and wing fit to fuselage issues but everything seems to go together smoothly. I have 3 5645s for elevator and rudder. Will these be enough? what should I use on ailerons? And is there any other issues you know about that would be helpful? Sorry lots of questions thankx for you time 3DAP

I 've had one of these for almost year too but is still in the box. Its probably waiting for my Extra to die or something. The added wing area entices me once in a while but then I get lazy again.

As for smoke, generally it is good idea to balance the plane without the smoke fittings and then mount the smoke equipment on the CG (for easy removal). I needed some nose weight on my 50 cc Extra so I put the pump next to the firewall. The battery is on the CG and there is a 20 oz tank sitting slight aft of the CG. Got a pointer on the forums which recommended that the smoke tank be slightly behind the CG so that when it is full, the plane is a little tail heavy - for all the whacky stuff and it is back to normal once you are through with the smoke. Have to admit though that when you are flying with smoke on, it feels a little pointless staying up there when you run out of smoke fluid. The ball park for fluid flow would be around 6 oz a minute on a 50 cc engine. I am thinking of going to a 24 oz tank. I run a 14 oz fuel tank otherwise.
