Hi Peiter,

Thanks for posting the great video. Wish I could hit the mark like you guys! As for tree landings, I'm an expert!

Jim

well we don't hit it all the time.... (trees are much easier to hit even when they are much further away..)
the person who was followed in the report is Alfred Rachner. He has been the champion for several years now.

check out the sites
www.freifaller.de/bluesky

or
www.baden-power.net

we learn lots from him and the chutes from theo (tv products) also helps..... ;-)

but its not as easy as it seems..

Hallo Pieter,

Thanks for posting the video. Alfred got a lot of face time didn't he? Is he still the successor to Olaf Scheinder? The red Piper was destroyed by a mid-air at this event wasn't it?

I just spoke with Jules Malfliet and he is returning to Muncie next year. Don't know about Theo. Why don't you join us for the Muncie Skydiver Rally in 2007?

Best regards
Paul Reiner

hello Paul.

indeed the piper was destroyed in mid air. (one oha came to close)
we were searching for a jumper (in the trees) when we heard a loud noise right above us (we were in the wood) and the piper came tumbling down and crashed not far from us...

i think that alfred is the successor to Olaf Scheinder.

i bought the OHA from alfred and i am rebuilding it know after i destroyed it completely in a crash.

Maybe we will join Jules to the rally next year. first we have to build a new jumper for my girlfriend. Her jumper was lost in the woods in kamp lintford and we cant find it anymore. we still hope to get it back but i think theo is in bussiness for a new chute. ah well

Very cool guys. I used to live in Germany and fly at a club near Dusseldorf. Never saw the skydivers though. I've definitely NEVER seen them at fields in California!!

(Cute news anchor too

Hello Pieter,

Is your OHA repaired and flying? I have one also which was built by Thomas and Karl-Heinz Beutemann. Haven't had much opportunity to fly it but it seems to have enough power for two MIKE's. It has a 3W-75 on it with a KS pipe.
Here is a photo.

See you in Muncie with Jules?

Paul
