Does any one have some construction pictures of the Ziroli P-47 70" under construction. I like to see what the structure looks like, before I order one.

I've got a few I can share. Currently I'm at work but I will try and remember to send them later this evening. Stay tuned...

I've got a few on my website more or less in the bones. I'll be adding more later but I still don't have a digital camera and have yet to get the film to the developer's.
I haven't seen the full kit that you speak of but I can vouch that it's a very nice building plane.

Greg,

Thanks for the pictures, I will keep checking your site.

I probably confused you with my post when I said I play to order one. The plans will come from Ziroli and I will order the cut wood from one of the place he lists. Where did you get your cut wood from and would you recommend him?

Yes! I recommend him very highly!
Sorry Chuck, that's kind of an inside joke with Chad... I actually bought the cowl, canopy, ribs and formers third hand from Chad. If my memory serves me correctly, another user here by the name Darryl Martel actually cut the formers and ribs. He did a marvelous job on them. The remainder was cut by me but mostly it was a lot of odds and ends like wing saddles, ply ribs for the retracts and such..

As for kit cutters, I believe Ziroli recommends The Aeroplane Works. I can vouch for them. I have a Ziroli Stearman kit from them and the work is exceptionally nice.

I just got a B-25 wing kit from warbird-kit-cutters.com and it is some of the nicest work I have ever seen! All hand cut and on quality light balsa and ply. Very reasonable also. Don

Chuck, I've been swamped and simply have not had time to send the pics. However, I will get to it in the next day or two if at all possible.

Mace, thanks for the kind words. I hope to get back on the Jug by the end of this week.
