UCD46@SAITO -> Morgan Fuels and Saito.... (9/15/2006 12:41:06 PM)

Hey Everyone!!

lately i've been running my Saito 100 with some of the morgan fuels, such as omega Heli 15% and 30%, and Omega 4 stk. Everything worked fine, but when i tried the Cool Power pro pattern 20/20, the engine could'nt hold 5 seconds before it shut off.

Does anyone know if the pro pattern fuel is compitible with the 4strk engines, and what is the the difference between Castor/Synthetic (Omega) and total synthetic (Cool Power) fuels??

You have to readjust your needle valve when changing fuel types.

Keep in mind that model fuel is a lot like beer. If you don't stick to the most popular types, it may be old and not run good.

Pro pattern 20-20 should work very well in your engine.

I wouldn't pay extra for four stroke fuel. No one uses it around here.

The heli fuels are usually all synthetic.

The all synthetic and castor/synthetic mixes are often debated on RCU. Even the different Saito manuals do not agree.

Seems like the castor/synthetic blend has won a little more favor around on RCU except for the 3D guys using 30 heli.

Personally I use the blend but cannot see any definite proof that all synthetic brings any more harm to your engine than the castor/synthetic blends.
