Hey is that RB 523 engine any good for racing? Actually is RB a good brand? The guy at my LHS sais everyone is going for those .21tm OS engines but their more expensive than the rb with an exhuast pipe. Oh yeah Im new to off road racing and this thread has given me many phenominal ideas on how to build my revo up for racing.
Thanks in advance

get one servo thats is as powerful or more powerful than the stock. then you switch it out. its actully quite easy. if you want to clean up the chassis a bit get the tekno rx box conversion.

Hey I have a 2.5 with the same hexes did you have to use washers or something to make them fit snug? I bought them off somebody and he gave me some washers that I need 3 in the front back the back wheels seem like they need 1 or 2.

Hey WestPhill,

I'm not sure if MBX5T will remember that post.... either way.. are you talking about the 17mm or the 23mm hexes?? I've got them on my Revo and I don't need washers with them. If you need washers with them, it sounds like they aren't a proper fit. If I remember correctly, mine are the Ofna 17mm hexes...

I'll take a picture of them mounted in a little. Nice to see you branching out too... I think we've met once, down at Linden Ave, right??

With the stock axles and the ofna 17mm adapters you will have some slop in them and you can fix this by putting a gluw plug washer inbetween the outer axle carrier bearing and behind the hex, basically your are shimming it.

Here's a picture of my truck if you don't understand

sorry for the low quality. In the second pic you can see the shim infront of the bearing.

Hmmm... I'll check mine, but I'm pretty sure I don't have any slop. Will look at it tonight after work. The ofna's are pretty nice though.. nice and beefy!!
