Horizon said they started shipping back-orders yesterday, tuesday. They said they didn't have enough to fill back-orders, but should see more in the next couple of weeks.........wish I had ordered mine a long time ago.

I got mine. I'm at work so I've only had a chance to dig through the box and take a quick peak. Everything looks very cool and I can't wait to get home tonight and start building. I didn't realize this before, the kit comes with all the currently available swaybars and shock springs. SSSWWWEEEETTT

I can't wait to get my own, get it together and hit the local tracks hard. "Thank goodness for the South - where it's never too cold to race" - Me

Good luck to all you 8ight-ers. Let us know how it handles. Take it easy.

Rc shack is where I got mine. Best Service, Best Price and I'm pretty sure I got mine before anyone (except team guys) www.thercshack.com I stayed up till 2am, got most of it together, going home at lunch break today to finish it up so I can get some laps in tonight. This buggy is ****, if the build and parts quality is any indication this will be the buggy to have for '07. Hopfully I'll have a driving report tomorrow.

I picked mine up yesterday and started assembling it. Its interesting. I finished the front end, heres some observations.

The parts are packed nicely, very logical build.
The fit is pretty much perfect on everything ive seen so far.
The manual is pretty good. Some steps are a little confusing figuring out which way a part is facing, if the part is symetrical, but most are stamped l/r
Theres a piece in the front end, a bulk head spacer, the picture of where to put it suck it took me 5 minutes of looking to figure it out, but i was tired
The chassis is THICK. As thick as my eck-tek for my mugen.
Half the hardware is stainless, half black, whick looks funny, but it is the right way to go.
Comes with diff fluids, loc-tite, shock fluid, etc.
Comes with steppins and average foam (Cut not molded)
Chassis stiffeners are plastic.
Everything fits in the front end with 0 space tolerance it seems like. Great as long as nothing goes wrong
Lastly, im a little hesitent on the steering ackerman. Its hard coated, and it seems stiff, but its got no milling and its arc'd, hopefully it wont bend easily.

Ill post more as I go through the center.

Chassis seems REALLY narrow.
