The plug in the 8 fuel tank is plug to get the tank down to 125 cc's. The AD2 has the same thing, I know in the AD2, if you take it out you get an extra 7 or 8 cc's, that equates to 1/2 - 1 lap extra if you had it in the tank.

Duh@me forgot about that...it's been a year and a half since I put my truck together and I totally forgot about it, lol

Got mine built, waiting on RBws7-3 to put in it, mine weighs 6 pounds with everything but engine/pipe. I think I see a problem though, I watched a guy run his yesterday, took a nose hit (hard), and broke the shock mounting stud that goes thru the shock tower, I bet that's what happened to the guy in the earlier post, maybe they will come out with some of stronger metal????????

I took a pretty hard tumble today after some lapped traffic knocked me off the straight away. Nothing broke but it didn't take any hard hits on the shock tower either. I love the front end on this thing as far as durability goes (I guess aside from those shock mounts) because its all so beefy. I couldn't see someone braking the a-arms or a steering knuckle.

only a "stud thing" with a (HARD) hit? Not bad.. with a hard hit and a high end racing buggy im surprised nothing serious really broke.. i mean.. it's a racer, not a basher =\

Yes, it is the SW .21 V2 . Great engine for the money but my next one is going to be the Ninja.

I ordered my losi from pacific coast hobbies via ebay. anyone dealt with them ? paid immediately via paypal which has been processed and cleared.

I ordered the kit last thursday (US time) and am yet to be advised that it has been posted or been given an EMS tracking number

they also suck at replying to emails

super dave ran yesterday without having any tune time on the losi. we normally run pretty tight but i got my butt
handed to me yesterday. had he not ran out of fuel he would have won easily. he steadily pulled away in the a-main,
i think he had about a half lap lead when he ran out of fuel. oh well just means i need to get busy. i have two losi 8s
in the shop to build and set up.
