OK, this is getting irritating... I have a video, which is 4.19 GB on my computer. I made a 20 minute+ Video, downloaded it with ease to my laptop, and now, I want to burn it to a DVD so I can dump that 4GB off the drive here! I am trying to use windows movie maker to burn the DVD. What or how can I burn this file so it can be watched on a typical DVD player. Thank you in advance, Keith

I hope someone has the answer to that, I've been trying to burn a DVD with no good results.

Without getting into some of the fancier software, Nero suite should be able to give decent results.

Not knowing what you have done or tried to use, I'm guessing that you just tried to burn the captured video to
a DVD. You need to first have that video encoded for it to be played in a dvd player.

You cannot directly burn a DVD through Windows XP or Movie Maker to my knowledge. I, personally, use the Nero suite that came with our DVD burner. However, if you did not want to spend this kind of money or were looking for a different alternative I would recommend going to CNET at download.com and I am sure you can find software to fit your needs there.
