Any chance you can dual-mode this manual to cover the Dymond Super Charge too -- they do appear to be very similar. [/QUOTE]

Dual mode appears to be what the manufacturers/distributors are already doing, and you have seen the results. The manuals are less than adequate according to a number of people.

If I finish the Triton manual maybe I'll take on another popular unit.

I like what you wrote Red. It makes sense - and left me wanting the next section on charging. I built a 12v dc supply and made some connectors and plugged it all into an old 6 cell 7.2v battery. I put the Triton on discharge/charge at I think it was 3a and changed the voltage to 7.2. Then I watched it - and watched it - and thought whats happening. Does the unit give a clue that it's working? Anyway I feel good about making the DC unit from a ATX computer power supply. Everyone was impressed with me like I was some kind of mad scientist or something sitting out in the garage with my new soldering iron and wire cutters. I'm basically clueless on this charger though - it looks cool and makes interesting noises. I need the rest of the Dummy manual and will gladly pay for it in whatever currency you wish Red.

I think I'm getting around the menus ok, but am more curious how to work the settings to get a given result. It will take a bit of time and trial/error testing, but I like it.

Now then, lets see, temp probe port... hey where is that rs232 port located? Ah too bad, it would be nice to log charges to a pc.
