I just bought out a guys entire colection and included was a couple cases of fuel. Most is Tower, and a couple others that are quite dusty and I expect old, so I'll thash them, second question will follow.

The Tower Power fuel doesn't say what the oil % or blend is and their site doesn't shead any light on it. A couple of the Gallons are green and the rest are red. I have determend that one of the green ones is no nitro, so again, I'm not to concerned with it. There is a full case of 15% Pink, looks to be quite new, and then there is a 5% and a 10% both pink and again newer looking. Does anyone have a clue what the color difference might indicate, and what Towers lube blends are?

The second question is what is a good way to dispose of a few gallons of fuel that looks to old to use? Pour a gallon in the car each tank full? Not sure what the Oil would do the the cataloic (SP) converter though. 6 oz of Nitro in a 20 gal tank shouldn't make much difference, the methol should just raise the octane a notch or two. ??

Don

Don't put the fuel in your car. There are too many things it could mess up even in dilute quantities.

In your area, I don't have any advice what to do with it. Years ago, I've used it as weed killer and to pour on ant beds but that may be illegal now days?

The pink stuff is most likely equivalent to Morgan's Omega which is part castor and part synthetic.

The green stuff is all synthetic

These fuels are most likely 18% total oil

My guess was that they were Morgan fuels, same seal. I think I'll run a test tank tomorrow, in my plane, and see how it goes.

I'd try running the "really old" stuff. If it runs well on the ground, I'd fly with it. If you dispose of it, you'll probably have to go through your city sanitation/recycling department.
