Stupid questions here so please bare with me. When sheeting wings (I will use the old method with weights not vacuum bagging) do you use one big sheet of basla for the top and bottom of the wing or several smaller strips side by side. Also, what about the LE and TE? Does the balsa just wrap around these or is there a trick? I will be using Probond for the glue. Thanks in advance!

Many ways to accomplish this. This is what I do:

Tape together enough sheets to cover one side. Make sure they are square to each other and the tape runs along the long edge as they lay parallel to each other. I use masking tape. Do this 4 times.

Align the leading edge of the wing with one of the long edges of the sheeting. Leaving about 1" margin, all around, cut out the shape of the wing on the taped together wing. Make 4 of these.

Put wax paper in teh core cradles to keep the assembly from sticking to the cradles. Apply clue to the sheeting. Put sheeting in wing core cradle. Put wing core on it. Apply glue to another sheeting piece. Lay over foam core. Add top cradle and weight it down. The sheeting will hang over the edge. Repeat for other core.

When it dries. Trim the excess sheeting off the perimeter. I use a band saw or exacto knife. Glue balsa strips to the leading edge (and trailing edge if desired). Sand to shape of LE (and TE).
