Status: offline 		I just purchased a 120SF used and I can tell from the condition that this baby has been around. My question is for those that have upgraded thier YS engines to later versions can they see a significant increase in performance. The update is expensive, so is it better to just rebuild, update or hold out and buy an FZ.

Status: offline 		I have an old SF that I fitted an SC head and valves to. Performance went from 8,400 to 9,000 (9,100 peak) spinning an APC 16-8, burning 20/20 fuel. So the upgrade was worth it for me, but my engine was in very good condition.
If you are in need of a complete rebuild, consider that low time FZ's are going for $275-300.
