G3 will be offering an upgrade in the future. And yes, upgrade, not update. Only a few screenshots have been releasd. So far it is looking really good. No release date out, hopefully they will be smart and not release one and suprise us with it. And yes, completely FREE. Can't wait!

Hi,
this definately looks good!
Comparing the first two pictures, it seems that the lights are animated as well!

Sure thing. I had this converstion on another forum with nemo_uk, a very well respected G3 modeler for those that don't know.

Thanks Zelatio! However, from the folks who I've talked to, it won't be a free update, or anything like it. It will be on cd/dvd and be something to buy. It doesn't sound like Nemo has the "update" yet either. Maybe you should get your info from someone who does have it.(or at least one of the beta versions of it) Also, G3.5 is more than nightflying. There also might be a few other features that have been begged for..........

i would hate to have KE charge for sucha wicked upgrade, i would rather realease it free, so people who cant afford to buy this upgrade, can get it.

Harv, I think that if you can afford to buy G3, you should be able to afford this. I have no idea what the price will be though.

No I can't quote my sources. From what you quoted of Nemo, it sounds like that was when he had just heard of G3.5, so I'm not saying he was lying.(just underinformed according to my sources) I'm not sure about water, but hypothetically speaking, there could....be....SShhh....real combat
