    yes it should do !
a froward CofG will make it fairly stable.
just reduce the throw and it will do panten stuff !
just use the 12x6 on 3 cells but watch your speed tho !
it should fly fine on the 10x5 on 3 cells too !

so where abouts did the CofG come out ?
are you using 3cells lipos ?
the plane will be even quicker with the 12X6 so becarefull not to over speed the plane !

Did any of you guys tried using it with the Parkzone Typhoon 2 3D motor (and gear box)?
I'm trying to save a few bucks
The Typhoon weighs 26oz, and hovers easily with this motor, so what do you think?

I would think it would fly it but not sure if it will give you hovering power !
It certainly won't give you much of a punch out.
My MFX came out at 35.5 oz but i am using a power 10 in mine !

I have a Typhoon also. I just don't think the Phoon's motor is enough for the MFX. I've got the Park 480 1020kv in my MFX and I wouldn't want any less for sure.

Hi all, I now have the results of the static test with the 12x6 props i've been waiting for. Below are all the test results for comparison. These are static tests but i will show you the dynamic results when i've finished repairs from the bad landing on her maiden flight.

    11x7 prop

    2200mah 11.1v battery Ah = 0.264 Wh = 2.8 Ap = 28.68 Vm = 10.05 Wp = 290.5
    2100mah 11.1v battery Ah = 0.261 Wh = 2.7 Ap = 27.88 Vm = 9.83 Wp = 278.2

    12x6 prop

    2200mah 11.1v battery Ah = 0.263 Wh = 2.8 Ap = 29.00 Vm = 10.03 Wp = 302.7
    2100mah 11.1v battery Ah = 0.279 Wh = 2.9 Ap = 29.61 Vm = 9.90 Wp = 307.3

Looks like the 12x6 is the way to go.

    Cheers. Roger

Hey im just about to buy one of these and plan on following all the suggested components however I am considering ditching the FPEVOLITE-21003S in favour of the FPEVOLITE-13203S. Can i expect 7-8min flights on this battery. It seems an attractive option to cut off a fair ammount of weight.

    Cheers

Hi, I now have the dynamic data from my watt meter taken over 2 flights of approx 5 mins each using 12x6 prop.

    2200mah 11.1v battery Ah=1.004 Wh=10.9 Ap=30.12 Vm=9.65 Wp=298.1
    2100mah 11.1v battery Ah=0.817 Wh=08.8 Ap=29.05 Vm=9.65 Wp=283.0

Hope this data is of interest to anyone.

    Cheers. Roger

Anyone try hand launching the MFX? I've been wanting to do a little park flying. I know I can land it in the grass easy without damaging the gear I'm just worried about launching.
