I was looking at the TF Cessna 310 as well as another in this post and like him, this plane is worth the wait. Plus it looks and seems to fly very well. I will admin this would be my first twin, but what a great one to start off with! Any idea if a Saito 170 radial or larger would fit in the nacells?

Nemesis4u was wondering if you could post a drawing of the firewall and also of the cowl? I am courious what engine options I have. Would prefer to go Gas but need to see what I would able to fit in.
Thanks, Randy

Just put my Tigercat on order via the LHS, I am really looking forward to putting this together and flying it. It was a hard call to decide on the TF 310 or this, but the Warbird fanatic in me won out! I have been looking at a number of power options for this airframe, one is the Zenoah 20ei gassers, next is the Revolution gas series and lastly with a couple of twin Saito 100Ts or mabye even a couple of Saito 90R or 170R's. Anyone else been thinking along these lines? I know in the video and from talking with KMP the prototype flew with RCS 91's, not a bad choice either...

I bought one of the first P-38's from Andrew when he was first starting up and his customer service was excellent. I could see that he probably has more on his plate now that his company has grown and might be harder to reach but I still have to belive that when he is reached he will do you right, he did me....

nemesys4u I went out on the link to Bomber field there in Houston/Sealy, brings back some memories. I use to live in Cypress a while back. It looks a little like the NW Houston club site which is not far off 290 either. We have some nice fields here in Virginia but nothing like the big ones there in the Houston and North Texas area...man I miss that place. sorry for the off topic.

Back to the F7F.... THE RCV91-CDs were shown to fly the F7F in a well behaved manner.... Now the RCV130-CDs should be available in SPRING so that would be another REALLY GREAT CHOICE.....!!!!!! MOre Power and not much larger than the RCV91-CD!!!

Hi recently bought the KMP Tigercat through: www.chief aircraft.com I plan on using 2 x OS 1.20 four stokes with a 3 blade 14x7. Does anyone know if that would be a good combanation for the 88" WS Tigercat?

I am leaning toward going with the Zenoah 20ei's as well, however when I hear one running, it really had a chainsaw sound more than other I have heard. Of course it is not the sound but the performance that really matters. I just want to use the powerplant that will have the least chance of failure.
Here are a couple of ideas I have with this plane. First is to use a FEMA on-board starter, http://www.hobby-lobby.com/fema.htmvery cool I had one on my 27% Ultimate Pitts and it worked real well on a Saito 1.80. They will also work on small gassers too. Second, use a Solo adjustable prob. I have one planed for my 25% Stearman. http://www.soloprops.com/Default.htm
I have looked for the approx weight of this plane, is it going to be in the 17-20 lbs range?
