Yeah, might just be able to keep up with the TRF415..

(to be honest w/ you, if we race, it will be up to who can not crash.. not which car is better.. ha ha ha! at least, that's my driving level.. )

..with my 19T set up =P . I kid, I kid. I'd have to get me a 7700 system (I SAW ONLY ONE BEHIND THE GLASS IN HOBBYTOWNUSA ON SATURDAY!!), then race =D.

Reminds me of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog..

Yeah, w/ the 7700kv system (that's what I got in the TC4 FT), it is silly fast.. Even in a big parking lot, you can only hold full throttle for a second or two.. I am not sure how useful it is in a race track...

Oh well.. kind of cool to be able to go from 0 to 45mph in like a few seconds, I guess.. ha ha!

A fellow police officer down my street radared my 4-tec equipped with the Komodo and it clocked 37 =D!

Wow, on a 19T?! That's REALLY FAST!

I think mine w/ TC4 FT would be around 45mph? (pretty conservative gearing, though.. not geared for speed run or anything..)

No idea, I never GPS-ed mine..

TEX GPS-ed his TA-04SS at 42mph! But that's not his top speed, though.. that's the speed he obtained within the track!!

I am sure his is probably in the 45-50mph range... pretty quick!!

Remember, this is onroad. Unless brushless has warped LBs perspective of speed

You don't think 37mph from a 19T brushed motor is fast?!?!

I'd think 37mph would need something like 12-13T brushed motor..

There was a sticker on my Komodo - at 5V i think it was, the motor ran 32k rpm. Yeah, it's very fast - trust me. You'd be surprised. It seems like 50 to people who see it run, but I would obviously say 37 is more accurate. The 4-tec ran stock was hitting 24 mph when it was radared.

That's cool.. I just thought that you'd need more power to get to that kind of speed, that's all..

Who knows, I guess you just need to run them side by side or dyno them..

I think my touring car w/ the Neo 1-Star brushless is probably only push that speed... (don't know, never measured it, ha!)

It is all depends on gearing, I am sure.. I have my Neo in my direct drive right now (F103GT) and it is geared way too fast.. ha ha..

Yeah, I think all this anti-brushed hype has convinced people that brushed motors are slow.. I mean, if a 19T can do 37MPH for $50, why the hell not, right? I would have to agree though, I would rather have 3 wires coming out of my motor than 2 =P.

I don't think people think brushed motors are slow.. (tried thoes 6-turns on the touring car like those world championship level racers use?!) I am just surprised to see 37mph out of a 19T..

Not doubting you, but more the accuracy of the radar gun..
