Unfortunately, when you got a gf, you can't be too cheap.. I am pretty cheap to myself.. (like Hunter said, priority, man!) I don't go out to eat, etc. Rather spend money on RC...

BUT, when I am with my girlfriend, we go out to eat pretty often... and I paid all the time.. LOL! Ha ha ha ha ha!!

That's okay... what ya gonna do... ha!

Lunchboxer - you need to buy a Schumacher!

Depends what you want. I like the older electric 4WD buggies from them, but they don't make them anymore. I loved the CAT when it first came out in the 80s, and ended up getting a Bosscat shipped to me from a guy in Australia. It's got CF all over the place, saddle-pack style, belt driven, crash-back front-end design, CVD-type shafts all around, and just a nice looking car.

Parts can be a pain to come by, but this guy gave me spares too - I am going to get a new body (Schumacher's site still sells them for the Bosscat) and paint it up nice (tiger stripes!), but not just yet. I go to the schuey forum a bit and got good info from guys there, and you can find/trade for parts from there (most are in the UK). Some of those guys have just sweet looking buggies there. It is a bit of a challenge with the parts, but it's fun.

I just always liked the CAT look and design, and they were pretty darn top notch back in the day (and still are!).

Hmm, here's some pics - I gotta update these with more recent ones:

Anyway, there's some to peruse. I think their onroad cars are supposed to be pretty sweet too.

Hmm.. 2? (should have ordered 3...)

It is for TEX! I am sure that he will be looking forward to the kit whole this week! (will meet up w/ him this weekend!)

Took the liberty to order a set of these Yokomo aero dish for TEX as well.. these are pretty racy looking rims!! (just like the model on the box cover!)

I also ordered a CF tub chassis (since many seems to think the FT's dual deck might be too delicate for someone like me.. ).. you know, just in case.. also got the battery strap kit..

Should be good to go, eh?!
