Go to radio shack and get a Picco Z
$30, and I can do figure 8's above my kitchen table.
TOO much fun!

actually, all the feedback on the 52 (walkera) has been really positive. I'm suprised as usually the walkera's have a "fatal error" battery's under powered, the TX doesn't work, the motor isn't powerful enough, ECT. However, the feedback all says that the stock batterys, electronics, and mechanics work "mostly" flawlessly.

don't go for walkera 52 or Micron because they are very hard to fly if you have little experience about rc helicopter.

if you really want a small helicopter to fly around your room, get a picco z or blade cx or esky lama. Those helis are great and easy to fly.

Ah, that I forgot, yes, unless you have some experience flying helis, the micron, 52, or a few others aren't very good choices, as, they're for people with intermediate skills. If you've never flown a heli, a good palm sized heli would be the co-axial helicopters.

then again, the truely palm sized helicopter would be the pixeletto.

If you are new, then go for the lama 2 or blade ca. If you know how to fly and just want a indoor heli. Then the No. 52 is good

Actually, you can give it forward movement by giving it a bit of weight on the nose. A thumb tack is about perfect. Then it has forward flight. You hold it out in your hand, spoot up, let go and it moves forward. Fly around the room until you are tired, bring it back towards you, and pluck it out of the air as it drifts towards you.

Here is a video I scarfed. Not me flying, but mine is almost this stable.
YouTube video of someone flying the Picco Z

well if you have some experiences on setting up, then walkera 52 is a cool helicopter for you. But if you don't want to spend time on setting, get a lama esky or colco lama iv, ready to fly out of the box. Great copters

Anyway, i wouldn't recommend the Micron V1 or even V2 because they are just suck. Too expensive but too many problems. Hardly can see anyone flies it well.

Yep, the Lama2 is definitely a winner! Mine has a bad bearing, tired motors, and blades so chipped up, it looks like there's no way it would fly, but it still flies surprisingly well... She's ready for a rebuild for sure...
