Status: offline 		anybody have any Db numbers for their zdz 60 with pitts-style muffler? it is for new extra.

Status: offline 		I had a zdz in an extra special, great engine, it had a pitts style muffler and was no noiser than any thing else at our field. I didn't measure the dbs, but had no complaints. I will run a little better and alot quieter on a proper sized cannister though.

Status: offline 		Here's a little tip for those that don't mind having a muffler modified. The larger the exhaust pipe diameter the lower pitched the rumble. The lower the pitch of the noise the less offensive it becomes. Directing the pipe back rather than straight down tricks the ears a little more.
