Status: offline 		Question - I was told that the spur gear from the single speed was the same one on the two speed. I went to go swap my spur gear from my single speed to my two speed after stripping it, and noticed there is quite a difference in size between them. Was I told wrong or did I get funky two speed? I'll try and post some pictures if I can.

Status: offline 		Nope. You're right. The two speed spur is thicker than the 1 speed.

on another note. Does anyone know where i can buy spur's? I grenaded both of mine.

Status: offline 		the 2 speed and single speed spurs are the same, we have made some changes in production over the past 12 months, all of the new gears are the thicker material......

Status: offline 		Oh.. Well I bought this car off a guy that must have bought an upgraded two speed because it had a thicker spur on it that then 1 speed transmission he sent with.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Can I buy just the spur gear? I didn't see an option on the site but I may have overlooked it..

My standard singles speed box ran fine for 10 or so tanks.

i put a brand new 2 speed in and stripped it to bits in 1/2 a tank.
i have had to put the single speed spur gear on the 2 speed to get it runnng again but have just read the 2 speeds are meant to be tougher. News to me!!!

Are there any proper tough gears i can get?????

Also can you can adjust the shift point on it?

Status: offline 		yea, me too i managed to strip my spur gear on a single speed and am looking at getting a 2 speed, can i get a metal spur gear? if so much? does Internet-Rc.com post to AUS?? whats the part number??

Status: offline 		Yes, you can change the shift point in the 2 speed.
At this time, there is no upgraded spur gear available. However, we are working on one.
