I noticed on my tail rotor that when I move the tail to the right, I have extreme power but when i move it other way it actually slows down to a stop if you take if full left. Is that normal for these heli's? Yes Mr Doomsday, this is normal. Since the heli has no means to vary the pitch of the tail rotor blades it adjusts the RPMs of the tail motor instead. If it has high rpms, the tail swings oppostoite of the main rotor torque, so to swing the tail the other direction, the tail motor RPM is deliberately decreased and the torque of the main rotor pushes the tail around for you. I posted a neat way for you to experiment with the tail rotor and learn about the gyros purpose a few pages back. Check it out and you will end up answering your own question better than I can here in print.
