Ya! I'm glad I was able to get it back. I had the visa ready to jump outta my wallet for a BL setup for the tail. Or at the very least a DD from GWS. We'll see how it goes. If this motor wears out quickly it is waiting with baited breath to pounce on upgrades. It's got a mind of it's own sometimes

UTM, I highly recommend the Century motors both main and tail. I have not had one yet that gave less than 100 flights (knock on wood). They are a little more expensive than the stocker, not much just a couple of bucks, but 16 flights verses 100 flights definately covers the price difference. When properly broken in you can't beat these motors.

Short Filght, not to worry about giving Robo credit for the Century recommendation. It's all good bro! I am glad the motors are working out good for you.

Yup, bought 2 Mysteries and both had the same problem. Would charge them up and get maybe 30 seconds of flight, then they would quickly lose power and drop my bird to the ground. I'd wait a few seconds, get back up in the air for a few more seconds and then back on the ground. Ended up with 2 very nice JST plugs for about $18.00 .

Hey nice flying Broggyr. I've only been able to get outside with my falcon 3 times so far and couldn't manage to hold hover in the lightest breeze. 1 cracked frame and 1 cracked core. Lots more practice...

Yes, the pot is only for the tail, but it doesn't control it directly. The pot acts as a voltage divider and the 0-3.3V is input into an analog to digital (A/D) pin on the microcontroller on the board.

hi i used to post here all the time but had moved. well i am here to say that i have a falcon 40 and am parting it out now. i am selling everything for cash. I have
-A custom made metal rotor head core that i payed $40 for and it will never break
-Two sets of main props
-two servo's
-one 4 in 1 rx
-two cf tail rods
-super skids(not original but the copy of it payed $20)
-original skids
-main motor
-main frame
-taill prop and motor

ok i am parting a fully rtf helicopter so if i missed anything that comes with it its here. I will give good deals for this stuff and will sell the whole heli at a discount. There is no tx!

Momning All:
I just upgraded to Li-Po batteries, and was wondering, which way is best to leave the batteries overnight? Should they be left in a dischargeed state or should they be fully charged.
These things are not cheap, so I want to be sure to get the best life out of them I can.

if i am thinking right these batteries should be charged back up as soon as possible.. just give them time to COMPLETLY cool down.. once the voltage drops so low it can damage the cells in the battery.. i do not leave mine unattended while charging, so if i can get them on the charger for at least 10-20 minutes that will get the voltage to a safe level in my opinion, and then i can finish charging them later when i have time to be around while they are charging.. hope that makes sense..

I always charge mine up ASAP as sheer said. I let them cool off and get them charged. They shoud not be charged unattended however. If you have doubts about this go to youtube and search lipo fires and see for yourself. They don't just burn they explode so safety first. If you cannot charge them right away I would take sheer's advice again and put them on to charge for a short time to get the voltage up to safe levels. It is said that if they are going to be stored for a period of time (ie you're going out of town for a week and cannot take your heli ) they should be charged to half capicity for long term storage.

Be safe and enjoy your new batteries. Despite the stability downfalls they are fantastic power sorces.
