ok i have another problem with the falcon.. now it seems to always want to go to the left real bad.. the trim is all the way right and it still does it.. looking at the swash plate it has a lot of right trim to help.. i think the tail boom is twisting pretty bad.. would this cause it??

How's your CG? Most people check fore/aft but forget to check left/right. If everything is balanced out, you swash should be level front/back and left/right.

anyone find any tubing they use for a boom?? or just get a super boom?? i did however switch over to the metal flybar that michael has and WOW what a difference.. more stable and more responsive.. it seemed to tighten up the way it flys.. now if i can find one of those aluminum rotor cores it will be good to go..

I purchased some CF tube from tower so that I can lengthen my tail boom, but it won't arrive 'til Tuesday, so I can't comment on how it's working til then.

Great Life, I don't think that pinion will work. The Falcon takes a .5 Mod that pinion is a .4 Mod.

A different perspective on BL.

Guys, if you are getting bored having only one type of FP flyer, you got to experience the BL tail mod. It flies completely different sort of like a bee verses a butterfly. It will definitely give you a feeling of flying 2 different types of helicopters. The characteristic completely changes when you install the BL motor on the tail. Just the BL main does not make it much different. May be people are thinking the BL only increases the life of the motor. My 2 cents after owning multiple Falcon 40/HB-FP with different mods and stock.

Navy, plug the servo that isn't working into the servo channel that is working and see if it works on that channel. If it does then you might have TX/RX problems.

Information, for you guys that like the 8g E Sky servos, I was on the manufacturer web site today and they have a message scrolling saying that production of the 8g servo has been stopped and it has been replaced with a 7.5g digital servo. I don't know how many of the 8g servos are still in hobby shops (online or LHS) but if you want some spares you might want to order them soon.
