I built mine in 85 and have rekitted it a few times. My latest resurection was ~1 month ago and I ended up putting a g-38 in the nose to offset the pounds of epoxy in the tail..... New this plane flew great with a K&B 61 swinging a 14-4. As I remember this kit left alot to be desired and is definately not for the first time builder. Perhaps in the last 18 years the kit has been upgraded. Try to bore holes in the fuselage to lighten it up. This is a heavy plane but I was able to shave a few pounds by using the hole saw on everything.

As far as flying I have had a blast with this over the years. Just be ready to use the rudder alot. There is alot of adverse yaw with just ailerons so be ready for it.

I converted to a tail dragger as everything I tried to keep the nose gear pointed forward never worked and sooner or later you will have a 90 degree brake up front.
