Alright, I'll post a few more later when I figure out how to make these smaller (new laptop, so I must have something not setup right)...................this is a bit frustrating.

The next morning, we awoke to temperatures in the mid to low 40's, it was dark, cloudy and the winds had switched 180 degrees and picked up to about a good 15 to 20kts. Despite the conditions, many guys still flew and did an excellent job.

I was only was able to take one photo because I spent much of the early morning (before the event) getting the 15 readied for it's maiden flight in which after about 5 circuits, it flamed out and ended in the ditch paralleling the runway. Primary reason for the flameout was due to the internal fuel lines (Tygon) being too soft and after a few manuvers wrapping themselves (and thus the clunks around the upward curves of the brass vent tubes....................so at around half tanks.................sucking air........poof. Damage was the right wingtip............and left stab which literally rotated around the shaft shearing the cross rod which goes through the shaft.....................8611A holding full up elevator with six volts going to it and a aluminum horn won the battle. Nice stiff headwind saved me...................that time.

Hay B.

Nice save bro. , is that your new shop on wheels? Nice.

I heard that there was new electric jet (Saber) with smoke system on board. How does it work? and how much will it cost and where can I order one? It would be cool to have one.

Now on Friday, it was still windy with about a 40 to 60 degree cross at about 12 to 15 kts. But there was a lot more people, jets and flying...............it seemed that at one point, someone must have made an announcement that if you don't fly,......................you're a loser...............because all of a sudden, you could'nt get a frequency pin, everyone was at the pilot stations and there were lines of guys waiting to start up and go.
