plane flies like a dream. had slop on aileronsabout 1/8 up and down. works fine in air though. put 5955 on rudder and ailerons and 5645 on elevator. lands real slow and predicitable. thanks aeroworks for an awesome kit. more to come as i start the 3d thing with this plane.

Dear Mark,

My 50 cc Yak is almost ready for its maiden, but I have a question regarding the suggested set-up. The 2 1/2'' aileron travel on low rates seems to me to be a bit on the heavy side......? Any experiences with this?

Hope to hear from you soon.

With best regards
Anders Arnesen,

Hi Anders,

Hey on mine, i use a JR-10X, it has tripple rates, i set the high rate for the FULL 3D throws, mid rate at 75% of full, and low rate at 50% of full. Then i set the expos at 60% high rate, 40% mid rate, and 20% low rate and flew it. Same on all three channels.. In the end, i played with the expo settings a little to get the same center feel in all three rates, and now it's very close to my prefrence. The throws turned out to be perfect for me. The elevator is sensitive, so the expo settings on it will be slightly higher than the other channels. Enjoy it, it's a wonderfull plane and a blast to fly
