the gyro, servos, motor, & blade grips are good.

-Ok here is what i would do different-
1. definetly get a different reciever any good computer radio will come with a better reciever.
2. get rid of the 25A ESC and get a 35A. its much better and will last longer.
3. the alum. landing gear is ok but i would upgrade to gorilla gear. they are the best

yeah, i kinda think it's a good deal..

i would agree that you should not use the GWS Rx on this heli,,
they seem to work fine on my foamy airplanes, but i dunno that i would trust em too far.

if you are not going to be flipping the heli over, or doing insane aerobatic flying, i bet you can get
alot of mileage out of the 25A speed controller..if you're just getting started, and are gonna learn to hover
i would use it and save the $$$

i got a brand new helimax MX400 PRO, with motor & controller, 240 gyro, 6EXA radio, 3 cell lipo, blade balancer,
(basicly the tower ultimate combo) from a club member , all brand new for $450, so,

yeah, i think it's kinda a good deal..
