yes, you see it in the title

somehow I doubt my local shop hold mini quake packs, because the last time they sold a miniquake was when I was in 8th grade (I'm in 10th now)

now, I put 5 amps to both of my miniquake packs and they are screwed up (Ive been recently (yesterday e_e) charging them at 1.8 amps, but its made little change). so I was wondering if there was a simple way to convert my quake to run on rc18t packs

to do this I have to add another 15mm to the battery slot.... but how?

I did a lot of research on this when going to lipos and finally gave it up to go with the stock (non-standard size). I had lots of 1/10 scale batts, but only 1 stock and 1 bad nimh pack for the MQ. I was able to go lipo for less than $20 a pack for 2S1700.

It may be a great time to go to lipos , for me it was a nobrainer because I already had chargers. In the meantime perhaps you can put all the good / same cells together and make one pack?

I know it doesn't help modding the batt tray, but just something else to consider as a charger can be had for $20 now.
