I couldn't find the "Fledgling" there - in any form.
The best 4-channel trainer listed there (electric at least) seems to be the Tiger Moth, though it's likely to be a bit more of a handful than I'd recommend as a first plane. However, with an instructor it should be fine, and from what I see it's complete with a real Futaba SkySport radio, an unexpected "bonus" for a value-priced plane. Even if the transmitter's doesn't say Futaba on the front, it's likely made by them.

Ah, found one at Hobby People.
Yes, it's a great trainer. It's on the large size, though - you'll need plenty of flying area. A friend has one he drops little parachutes all over the field with and has a blast.

Speaking of great trainers, take a look at this one.
It's a reduced-size version of the Magister, an absolutely superb flyer, and is upgradeable to aileron use. I've seen one of these fly at the Toledo show, and it's just as stable and forgiving as it's famous big brother. They're on backorder, but Multiplex is a great company and will have them out soon - were I in the market for a standard-type trainer I'd pre-order this one.

Yes the Fledgling is a real good 4ch. trainer make sure you fly with an experienced pilot for the first few flights. At least let someone take it up on it's maiden flight and trim it for you. It's all wood and will not stand up to rough handling. I have one and like it a lot, but if I were you I would first learn on something like the Easy Star,I know you will not regret it. If you can't fly the Easy Star you'r in trouble.Good luck with what ever you choose to do.
