Hi Blackcat - I have tested the flaps very carefully while airborne, I have never taken off or landed with them. I must admit that I am a little afraid as 3 of the F-16's here had very brittle hinging as they had probably been overstretched and painted during the finishing process. I must say that you could probably do without the flaps, as she lands perfectly smooth and slow without them, as you can see in my videos. We had a big scale meeting this weekend, but the wind was so high only a couple of guys risked taking off. I will be going to California next week for 15 days, so it will be a while until I fly this great bird again. Meanwhile, be sure to check your rudder mechanism if you have the old one - we have 2 examples of rudder flutter here now, both planes came down safe and in one piece, but the set screw, horn and hinges should be carefully controlled before you fly again.
